The new Sony PlayStation 5 design has been shown last week during Sony’s conference. With a new console comes a new user interface for the PlayStation 5 home screen.
The PlayStation vice president of UX, Matt MacLaurin, announced that the new user interface will be a total departure for the user interface we had got accustomed to on the PlayStation 4.
McLaurin indicated that a new design language will be used, emphasizing that the interface will adopt a more subtle approach, with practicality being the main focus.
The new OS will be shown off soon. In fact, part of the OS has already been shown during the PS5 stream.
